Our Open House sale will be Saturday Sept. 17th the barn opens at 7am. We are doing our sale a lil different this year. from 7am-9am all pigs will be open for silent auction style bidding at 9am (each pig will have its own bid sheet) we will close all the bids and the remaining pigs that did not receive any bids they will be for sale at a set price from 9am-12pm these remaining pigs will sale first come first serve. We will have 3 tents set up with pigs in them each tent will have a set price of $250, $350 & $500. We open the barn at 7am for veiwing & sales will start at 9am however from 7-9 buyer #'s are available and every pig will have a silent bid sheet open for early bids. Starting bids will start at the price of the pen they are in. Bids will close at 9am all remaining pigs are for sale at a first come first serve based on buyer # order (example Buyer #1 gets first chance #2 gets second and so on) So be sure if you able to make it be sure to get your buyers # befor you look at the hogs. We will be having a couple guest consignors at the sale Saturday. Lanier FFA will have some very nice Dark Cross gilts to offer & Koehler Farms will have some Spots to offer. The Summer has taken a toll on our numbers so we dont have as many as we had planned but we the quality is way good. We should have around 30 head ready for sale and an additional 20 from our guest consignors. Wanted to send a big Thankyou to everyone who attended our 3rd annual Open House Pig Sale yesterday. We had a very good turn out and sold alot of good hogs. Our Top 8 pen all sold at an avg. of $600. Top Seller at $800 was our 3-6 York Boar Sired by Kingmaker and out of our Class Champ from San Antonio last year. So Thankyou to all of our loyal returning customers as well as our new members of the Lazy Oak Family. We still hae some outstanding prospects still available here at the farm. Durocs, Yorks & Crosses that are perfect for January and Febuary County and Major Shows. All are for sale here at the farm 7 days a week and are first come first serve. We will be consigning some to a few sales coming up in the Central TX area as well as hauling a load up to Duncan for the NSR Fall Classic.
