just curious what you all that attended the SWTC in Belton.what you think of this Berkshire Boar. I have this Hawg Leg X Desperado gilt that has everything you can possibly look for in a berk just one fault the Judge said she was just to long bodied. SO now i'm looking forward 2 using this boar just wanted to hear you alls opinion.

Jay I personally liked James Holts Reserve berk boar and Russel Kneese Berk Boar better than Flash Farms Champion. Shipley bought Kneese's boar as well I think they call him Big River He seemed to be be put together with better peices than the Champ. Holts boar I think is a breed changer this powerful thing resembled a crossbred boar than a berk boar. You should give Chuck Real a call about him He is a dang good boar. The kneese boar was prettier to look at he had a beutiful showring appearence but was outpowered by the Holt boar. Those were my 2 favorite berks at Belton.

Thanks Ty, I'll give Chuck a call and see what he recommends for this Gilt. The Sire of this gilt is out of Chucks boar, shes a good gilt extremely wide and lots of bone but the judge disliked her cuase she was a bit to long bodied.
