What are your thoughts on the sale at San Antonio this year??

I would like to know why the auctioneer shut down the action when your kids barrow was around 800 - 1000 if u where not from that area?? My child and many others had people still trying to bid on there barrows!! and he would just shut them down and the guy working the let out gate would just open it and let your hog out with people still bidding!!

Only saw that happen a couple times throughout the whole sale but each time the auctioneer gave bidders chances. I am sure they were wanting to keep the bids coming fast and steady and not having to wait long on last sec. Bids. Sale went great as allways with only a few mishaps hats off to all of the swine committee for a great 2 weeks of hog shows.

Im just curious, how many pigs go through that sale?

this year around 330

What were the price differences in all the show pigs? Were they all staying the same. The only reason I ask is because some have a set price for each pig. I dont know if thats always the right thing to do, but sometimes it keeps an even playing field.
