Has anyone had any litters out of Time Bandit? I have a berk gilt that will be shown next month and starting to think about possible boars to use on her. I would also like some input on any other boar that might work on her. All I want to do is widen her out a little and make them a little more terminal in there make up.

I was in the same boat a couple of weeks ago, after studying my gilt and knowing what i had change on her i spent days looking at boars and found 2 good boars i think in my point of view where the perfect match to our gilt.

Justify @ Shipleys
Black Widow @ Chuck Reals

We went with Black Widow!!

Ended up breeding her to all you want @ top cut. seems that most good berks go back to him. She is now 28 days past breeding so i am assuming she has stuck.

PostSubject: berkshire boars    7th May 2011, 12:50 pm

The best choice for berkshire boars we are using in our herd is time after time big river and justify. Theirs a boar that McCasland raised that is wide from every angle his name is prohibitioin looks like a barrow maker dang sure put some bone and muscle on one. Does any one have any other ideas?
