I know nothing of what you speak of , however, you have sparked my curiousity and if you have a video of this could you post it. I dont want to be rude but this is a interesting subject and maybe we can learn from this to prevent or look out for or what have you.

As far as the barrow following I knew this little girl a couple of years ago that would walk her hamp up and down a paved county road with or without traffic it was as if they were one mind most of the time she wouldnt even use the stick. At first when I was told this by one of her neighbors I thought maybe she had something but after a couple of time watching her and finally asking her she said that it was just her best friend this has totally allowed me to keep an open mind.

I do not have a video of me doin this. The truth behinde all this is i showed his mother and she was special and i know his father and his personality not to mention i have showed many of his sirs offspring and know how they work. i asked this barrow the night before i showed him if thought he had what it could take to win, he simply responded we can do it. i took him out for a little practice run twice the night before and he responded on everything i asked him to do with no questions or hesitation. I knew at that moment hed work and i took him out the next day and won my divison. I was very pleased with him. the night before the show was the first time i had ever asked him to do anything he did in the ring.

I have seen this young lady show for several years now. I can say that there is some great showers across the state and she is among the best of them. I have not once seen her enter a show ring without her gameface on and her hogs are allways prepared and ready to perform. I truely believe this is a tribute to all the countless hours of hard work and 100% commitment she puts into her hogs day in day out. I do not know this this young lady personally but I can say that by watching her over the years it is very easy to tell that she has a talent in the showring and allways strives for perfection in a way that all exibitors should want to posess. I am very sorry to hear about this situation.

Lazy Oak thank you so much for the nice comments! it makes me feel good to know that there are people out there that know and understand how i show. I didnt think i did anyhting wrong by understanding my pig. We had a connection and i was very thankful for that. I always give a 100% at home and in the ring with my pigs. I know each one of them as if they were my own child. Thank you again Lazy Oak that means a lot to me Very Happy

peyton, sometimes people take loosing to the same hard working showman, you, to the extent that they try to take it to the limit by making your hard work look bad. Just keep up the great work showing and maintaining your showfit project. so dont let these sarcastic people break your heart and bring you down. Just remember that hard work ALWAYS pays off in the long run. And you have proven to them and all the other people that have said something negative to you time and time again. So my hats off to you! keep up the great work kid!

You should feel good because of the coments Ty Clark said bout your showing. I believe every word he says because he is a great breeder. I have heard how he supports our youth and I would like to see you one day in the showring.

After reading this story that makes me angry to here this. I've seen you many of times in magazines and know you and your livestock performs at the best. People know your good and they will make up lies to make-sure u dont win which is a terrible thing to do to take a banner away from a girl that works her butt off for it.. Sorry to here this Peyton... Best of luck to you at your next show!!

Payton, if your gilt is the one i'm thinking of. It is the one my friend bought in duncan. Nice gilt he is waiting for her to cycle , and if she cycles in the next week he is looking at breeding her to archway at shaffers.
