I was looking through several pig sale adds that are going around Texas and see that several breeders of those regions consign to them. I was just wondering why RGV breeders don’t host a local sale. I see that some sales are hosted at Ag farms maybe the rgv breeders could borrow an Ag farm and host one there. I think this would be beneficial for the breeders and the parents.

This is a very good question and something that has been in the works. Since there are several issues that remain to be ironed out for now the best thing that we can do is try to get there names out there. Thanks to this website breeders from the valley are beginning to get more of the recognition that they have deserved for a time now.

This idea has been brought up by several of the valley breeders. I believe that the location is not an issue. In fact, now writing , I dont know the issue. Maybe that will be in the works soon.
