We have our boar "Black Out" and although not currently proven , he has some of the most natural width and muscle that I have seen on a boar. We will be using him on most of our sows this off season. You can go to www.g5farms.com or visit our gallery here on championshowpigs.com to see more photos on this exciting boar.

First of all there are four boars that are on this website so which ones are you talking about. There is black out, super cross, had to be, and true blood. there are about another two or three in the valley but they are not on this website.

Something to consider would be is black out is a g5 breeding, had to be in owned by Aguilar showpigs but comes from G5 farms, Jay Aguilar also owns Super cross which was bred by Jesse Cervantes and the bloodline is Super Freak X (cross bow which also comes from G5).

My point is the most proven of all these might be and is Had To Be however the bloodlines themselve on all three of these boars are proven and if you are interested in line breeding you SHOULD not go wrong with any of these.

what other boars are there in the valley?? i've only heared of this three and in this website they only have them here, actually i'am looking for a valley breed boar so i can start my herd with a valley breed and valley owned herd.. i've heared about that" Had to Be boar alot from Jay Aguilar when g5 had him i wondeer if his being used regulary to bred my gilt with him.. Black out to me looks a bit short fronted to what i'am ooking for but i might have to wait on him to see how good of a sire he turns out .. True blood to me is a excellent looking boar and i really like the muscle and bone he has and the thickness of body, Super cross of Jay's is a bit small stilll to use huh but i like the hight and body he has for a cross boar and for what where looking for in our herd, but when is the earliest you can breed a boar that age

Crouch also has a boar and so does Carter. SOM pigs (San Benito) has a duroc that you can find in champion sires. I am not certain if Carter still has his boar but his number is on this website. Crouch has his own website.

Black out as far as I can tell is jet level but you can always ask Mr. Garza if you can see him in person.

Black Out is still a young boar with lots of promise Super Cross is also a young boar with lots of potential. Super Cross as far as collecting based on his age should be about ready however i believe Jay has plans for him, his website says that he will be ready for next season so that is something he would have to ask him.

We wish him the best in the future. He has 2 sows breed for january litters from his boar Had to Be and a Half Ton Sow bred to Full Diminsions boar from Lazy Oak Genetics and Purchased from Lazy Oak he. he recomended me to use black Out form G5 if i wanted bone and width in the hamp appeaing litters and said i wouldnt go wrong using Had To B or True Blood if i wanted a blue litter but really recomeded all three boars i had in mind..

Johnny, Thanks for the comments.. like i said in the phone call i recieved from you time ago, I recommened ALL 3 Boars you mentioned here. theres nothing wrong with none of them just the likeing of the breeder that wants to use one of this for a preffrence or to correct their sow or gilt.. i have'nt spoken to Mr. Garza about Black Out but i think its getting close to getting black out breeding there sows, as for Mr. Ramirez i knew he had a litter out of his True Blood boar and as for my boar Had To B was'nt used this year but we have 2 gilts bred to him already and where looking foward on these litters by him.
