| how much a dose? Looks a little thin and would like a little more bone but is still stacked. He looks like he would be compatible to my mighty and wide sow.
Another question if you dont mind, what are you feeding? No details just a rough draft. |

| well in person he looks like he has more bone than what the pics show. i am feeding him a sow feed. i probably need to put him on something diffrent but i feed him 6 lbs a day. And also i kept his feed away the night before so he would want it for the pics. if i can get him collected i am going to start him at 35.00 a dose. he is much better fuller but when you get him out if he aint hungry then he just run all over and everywhere lol. |

| I appologize if I am asking too much however I like him but if he is already juiced up to his max with paylean and show feed and what have you then he is no good for me. But if he is on natural feed and he is just getting by in a healthy way then yeah he is an awesome boar that I would give a try. Different is always good it keeps you away from the others. |

| No he is NOT on any supplements. Just a regular 14% sow feed. But I have considered switching him to a moormans 18% for the higher protein level. Not the paylean feed but just a regular 18%. And is there a way to take picture of these boar and keep them looking full in the pics. Cu's like i said i took away feed over night and that next morning and feed him while i was talking his pictures. |

| That sounds good. Do you think he will be ready to collect by May 12. If so book me for three doses my daughters liked him as well. I might actually go by and pick it up in person so I will pay you then. I will keep in touch till then.
He looks good just make sure you clarify what he is being fed because some sires that look amazing throw nothing but toads while others that look just fair are heavy hitters. For instance G5's "had to be" is mostly on natural feed and he is one of the most wanted local boars because he never misses I have heard of him being used on some weak sow and still make an impact. As for taking pictures I still haven't mastered that art. A lot of other guys here seem to do a whole lot better than me they should be able to help you better. I just take as many pictures as my camera can handle pick the best and delete the rest. And as you can see from the pics on our gallery they still arent that good. |

| Does he have something wrong with one of his testicles in every picture his left testicle is dropped way low and flat. allmost looks like a cryptochid this could effect his semen volume and quality. I would not change him to an 18% show ration he will just get harder and leaner, if anything put him on full feed of the 14% sow ration.
He is a nice shapely tall fronted level topped, big forearm kind of hog, One that has a big set of feet with even square toes. For me he is a lil too hard, I would like to see more rib and more natural 3 dimensional shape and more drop in his flank he needs to be more opened up underneath both coming and going with more bone and more structurally correct. I would like to see a lil less leg in him in todays show rings judges have steered clear of the long legged type hogs. He can be one to put more shapely muscle and more leg into one and perhaps put a taller frontend into one. I would protect him on width underneath and natural spring of rib and depth of body. In my honest opinion I feel he is not the typical style of boar to use for todays Industry, he is one that would have worked well about 10 years ago.
As far as taking pictures, Try taking pictures of him while he is eating out of a fence feeder. Patience is the key it takes some hogs many attempts to find the perfect picture and some you get it on the try. In past experience I have found that hogs will not cooperate as well when they have been held off feed. also fill a feed scoop full of feed and start letting him nibble on the feed down low and slowly work the scoop up til his profile is good and level while snapping pictures the whole time. holding the scoop out of his reach will never work. main thing is patience and take lots of pics. Good Luck |

| i am not sure but i will try my hardest to have him ready for you. And ty his testicles use to be even and after i bred him the other day it drop down lower. i was told that that happens sometimes and not to worry. But he is deeper bodied when full. like i said i with held his night and morning meals. i was told also to feed him more than 6lbs. this is a pic i took when i first got him, i think he is a better boar in person if you got to see him. |

| You could put him on full feed until he is good and fleshy and then cut him back down to 6 or 7 lbs a day. Y es I would feed him more |

| ok sounds good i can do that. But i dont know what he will trow i think he could help them sows that are shorted front and need more muscle. But ihave him bred to some pretty wide made sows and one dinky gilt. if there aint a good one in the bunch then i will get rid of him |
